Design features
The DDZ-M marine steam pressure atomizer series is specially designed for medium and large water-tube boilers, for example auxiliary and drive boilers for tankers, LNG tankers and FPSO applications.
Due to its unique design, the DDZ-M marine enables selective supply of combustion air and air fuel mixing. This makes it possible to achieve a wide control range, optimum combustion and low emission values, even in the lower load range. At the same time the flame remains very stable over the entire load range. Because of the variable flame geometry, the DDZ-M marine is suitable for use on boilers fired from the side or from above.
The combustion air ratio is controlled by electronic compound regulation combined with a PLC controller. A mechanical compound regulator can also be delivered on request.
The burner can be delivered as a combined oil/gas burner (type DDZG) for use in FPSO applications and LNG tankers.
